Lost in a darkness I do not know,
Where do I turn? Where do I go?
Lives are full of paths, but where are mine?
Not falling down a mountain would be truly divine.
My heart is broken, but what do I feel?
How do I fix this? How do I heal?
In an emotional daze, I wander about,
It’s good I’m not armed, because now I want out.
How should I act? I don’t know how I’m to be,
If against all hope, someone should come to set me free.
What should I do? What should I think?
I gaze back into the darkness, my soul at its brink.
When my life is taken, with the final blow,
What will I have for it? What will I show?

If someone has gone through their life supressing all emotions, but for some reason can't anymore, I think this is something that might be going through their head.
